2016

2015
Debbie Kaminski and her German Pinscher “Indy” earned their Utility Dog title at Oriole DTC’s May 24, 2015 obedience trial. She won the class with a 189 and earned her UD in only nine trials. She is the 4th German Pinscher to earn an AKC Utility title.
Janet Gauntt and Sequel take 1st in the 26″ division of the $4000 Triathlon class at the 2015 Mid-Atlantic Agility Showcase.
Raimi Quiton and Renly at the April ODTC Nosework Trial in Stevensville, MD. Renly earned his NW1 title with a “Pronounced” designation, which is given to denote excellent teamwork, and placed 3rd overall. Renly also earned a very special honor, the “Harry award”, which is given to “the most outstanding rescue dog that demonstrates extraordinary ability and spirit in nose work at the NW1 level,” according to the National Association for Canine Scent Work. They also took 2nd place in Container Searches.
Don Grskovich and his Doberman, Broker achieve their NW3 Elite title in Charlottesville VA with Judge Tony Gravly in the background evaluating the team. Broker is the first Doberman in NACSW to obtain the distinction of a NW3 Elite title.
Ruby and Sheila Saville completed all their Level 2 Titles at the Artful Dodgers CPE trial on March 21 & 22nd and had 7 out of 8 Q’s. They only began trialing last August and are very excited at their accomplishments!
Chelsea Singer’s Mr. Handsome Dakota earned a perfect weekend for himself & Mr. Crackhead earned his Fullhouse Championship at the March 2015 Oriole/Artful Dodgers CPE trial !
Vinnie Bessenhoffer played agility at the Oriole/Artful Dodgers March 2015 CPE trial and got a perfect weekend. 10 q’s out of 10. Way to go Vinnie B !
Keanu McKisson Q’d 7 out of 8 at the Oriole/Artful Dodgers March 2015 CPE trial and earned 3 titles to close out level 3!
Lori Bessenhoffer/Vinnie and Lorinda McKisson/Keanu earned 1st place and Q’s in the Gamblers class in their first try at USDAA agility at the Feb 2015 Branchwater Intro trial. Well done everyone !
2014
No Speed Limit (the Light Speed team) wins Division X at the NAFA’s 2014 CanAM Classic ! Team members were: Wanda Landis with Heidi, Pat Parkent with Phoenix, Carle Lee Detweiler with Pesto, Bill Parkent – Boxloader, Nancy Anderson with Tejano, Patti Farnsworth with Feather and Foreman
The team of RSvP (Remi, Sequel, and Paiva) run by Oriole agility instructors Janet Gauntt and Sally Josselyn along with friend Sherrie Wilkes take the win in the Dog Agility Masters team tournament at the Carolina Piedmont Agility USDAA trial. (Sally and Janet’s dogs Baru and Johnny B took 4th as well!)

Terry Herman and Idgie really outdid themselves at the 2014 World Cynosport Games. Their summary: 1st in Team Standard, 2nd in Team Snooker, 3rd in Team Gamblers, 6th in Team Jumpers & 1st Individual Overall in Team. Their Dog Agility Masters Team, “Idgie Likes Bad Boys” ( with Teamies Laura/Nelson, Melissa/Toast) made The Relay Finals. They progressed through the tournament ladder to Q in both the Steeplechase & Grand Prix Semi-Finals, and made the podium in both tournaments, taking 3rd in both Finals.
Oriole member Monique Bocock and Kahlani made the Top 5 list for Entlebucher Mountain Dogs for the 2014 AKC Agility Invitational held Dec 12-14, 2014 in Orlando, FL. Good job !
Oriole Flyball training director Carle Lee Detweiler and Heidi earned the rare distinction earlier in 2014 of acquiring the 100,000 racing points needed for the coveted Hobbes flyball title.
Donna Sapp’s Border Terrier Fells returning from the flyball box and jumps at the tournament at which he earned his Flyball Master Championship (15k) title and his MB-FDCH-Silver. He was a lean mean jumping machine!

Diana Reich and her German Shepherd Kemah, holding up the tracking glove: a TDX pass ! This photo was taken at the German Shepherd Tracking Test held in fall 2013 at Fair Hill, MD. Diane Reich is an Oriole member; Nancy Skinner, an Oriole member, was the Chief Tracklayer, and a number of Oriole students and instructors were there as working volunteers. As is the case in the local tracking community, members of the German Shepherd Club came to help with the 2014 Oriole Tracking Test also at Fair Hill.
