Oriole is pleased to welcome back Paula Goss for 2 days of seminars on Saturday, January 13, 2024 and Saturday, January 20, 2024.
There are two four-hour seminars each day:
The morning seminars focus on training and enhancing basic distance handling skills for pre-novice, novice, and intermediate teams. Learn how, when and where to place your pressure to get your dog to work away from you. Work discriminations. Work drive lines and sends. Dogs need to be proficient on contacts, jumps and tunnels.
The afternoon seminars focus on teams that have good distance handling skills but want to develop and enhance more advanced and independent skills on the course. Learn how to layer, work discriminations and where to apply your pressure to keep your dog working away from you. Work drive lines. Expect challenges that will require you to be able to handle your dog at 20-30 feet away from you. Dogs must be able to do all obstacles to participate in these seminars.
