New to USDAA or haven’t done USDAA in a while? Read on for USDAA’s competitor-friendly rules!
- Dog-friendly jump height cut offs!
- New to agility competition? USDAA is very beginner-friendly. Dogs may enter at 15 months of age (14 months for Intro). Artful Dodgers offers an Intro division for most classes (Standard, Jumpers, Gamblers, Snooker) with lower cost class fees (fun match prices!), more time allowed, and you can still Q with 5 faults.
- Coming from AKC? You can use your permanent AKC jump height card in USDAA and you will be jumping your AKC heights!
- Enter at ANY level – you don’t have to begin in Starters if you think you qualify for a higher level.
PLUS:
- NO up contacts are judged
- NO TABLE in Masters/P3 Standard, positionless table for other levels
- NO weaves in Jumpers and NO spreads in any Performance division classes
- You can do FEO in ANY class. FEO means For Exhibition Only and that means you have 60 seconds in which to train on the course with a toy which you can either hold or throw.
- Fix & Continue is allowed; this means you can stop and fix one thing on your run that may not have gone well like a dropped bar, or missed contact and you can then continue the remainder of the run.
- Bitches in Season are allowed (must wear pants per Oriole’s policy).
- R/V parking is allowed by pre-arrangement.
