Missed the previous announcement?

The league play is organized by Mid-Atlantic Disc Dogs and takes place at Hog Dog Productions Inc in nearby Millersville, MD.

Cost: $25 per person with one dog for all five weeks.  ($20 for that person’s second dog).  To sign-up, email Ray at H2okoiboi@aol.com.

Never tried disc dog training?

Think you can’t throw and the dog doesn’t know how to catch?  The good news is that in K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch you don’t have to throw the disc in the air to participate.  Most dogs and handlers start with “rollers”.  You’ll find that Disc Doggers are very friendly and are used to helping newcomers start since actual classes in disc dog are not often seen.

Small Dog Catching Disc

Don’t miss the tons of useful information on youTube (search for dog, disc, and Frisbee).  Here’s a couple of videos to get you started:

Not sure where to get the right kind of disc that flies well and is appropriate for your dog’s mouth and teeth?  MAD Dogs usually has discs for sale at a discount to help you get started.  Don’t want to wait?  Look online for the brands “Hyperflite” and “Hero Discs”.  Note they come in large and small for different sizes of dogs.
