Ann’s training career started in Horses. In 1991, she got started in dog training. For the last 20 years, she has owned and operated her dog training school in NJ. She moved to Sumterville, Florida, in March of 2023. Ann’s philosophy is to make competition sports a fun team activity we do with our dogs. She believes the dog first needs a solid behavioral foundation, which allows us to use games and motivation to achieve the competition goals. Ann’s approach is not a “cookie-cutter” approach, each team is treated individually. Ann teaches dogs as small as Yorkies and as big as Great Danes. Her accomplishments with her dogs include multiple OTCHs, RACHs, and MACHs. multiple 200s, High in Trials, High Combined, High Triples, and Top 10 at the NOC three years in a row, multiple wins at Rally Nationals, multiple placements at AKC Classic and Gaines events, and many other national events.
“The Clever Way to Perfect your dog’s Performance and Improve Attitude”
Join us for two days of Improving Your Performance in the Ring! Ann will focus on the clever ways she builds attention, accuracy, and enjoyment of the sport of Obedience. Ann will cover attention-building games, motivational skills, and various training tools to show the dog how to give us and enjoy the performance we are looking for in Novice, Open, Utility, and Rally. You will use these skills to build your dog’s confidence and enjoyment in the ring to perfect your performance, score, and Q rate.
