Oriole is now in our second year of participating with the Department of Defense in their three year odor discrimination study.  The subject of the study is how dogs generalize to similar odors and discriminate amongst different odors

Handlers have been meeting every other week at Oriole to train in addition to conducting home training.   The following video describes the study and shows one of the offsite tests.  Cameos of several of the Oriole members who have been participating including Adrien Meckley & Scruffy, Michele Long & Ginger, Helena Dahlen & Porter, Jacqui Reardon & Blake as well as Nancy Morris, Cathy Ogle, and Don Grskovich.
