ODTC will be conducting our first ever Facebook classes starting today, April 26th!  The classes will consist of weekly Facebook Live lectures and demos on a private Facebook group. Participants can submit 2-3 videos per week for review and will receive feedback. The lectures and demos will be posted to the group if you can’t make the live time, and will remain up until August 30. Auditing is also available! [FBK1] Clicking Into Shape Instructors: Rose Kane, Ashley Musser, Kim Culp, Margaret McDowell, Jessica Keenan, Kristi LaVoy.  4 Weeks, 2x per week. The class will consist of twice weekly Facebook Live lectures and demos on a private Facebook group on Sundays and Wednesdays at 8:15 pm from April 26th to May 23rd. The lectures and demos will be posted to the group if you can’t make the live time, and will remain up until August 30. We will answer questions from the previous week, in addition to introducing new material. The class is designed for students who have taken Foundations of Dog Sports and would like to stay inspired to work on skills, or for students who are enrolled in the Spring Semester and/or have not taken the class before.  We will cover intro to clicker training, tips on improving timing and breaking down complex behaviors, body awareness exercises, and basic foundations skills that can all be done at home with things people already have in their homes. Participants will submit 1-3 weekly videos and receive feedback to work through roadblocks, progress to complex versions of behavior, and improve timing and marking. If you don’t have a facebook account, all you need is an email address to create one at facebook.com.

This class is designed for students who completed Foundations of Dog Sports, Agility 1 or Agility 2, focusing on using the space you have at home to test and improve your dog’s understanding of 2 on 2 off criteria. Participants will submit 1-3 weekly videos and receive feedback. If you don’t have a facebook account, all you need is an email address to create one at facebook.com.
