An additional Obedience class has been added to the 2022 Fall Catalog. The class information is posted below. Please share with anyone that owns a puppy in this age group.   [OB102] AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Class.  Instructor: Susan von Suhrke. 8 weeks.  For puppies 14 weeks to 6 months old. S.T.A.R. stands for Socialization, Training, Activity and a Responsible owner. This class will focus on communicating with your puppy and teaching them foundation obedience, such as, walking on a loose leash, learning to come while in a socialized environment. Discussion topics will include housebreaking, chewing, and effective ways of teaching your pup to focus on you.  You and your puppy must attend a minimum of six weeks.  At the end of this class, handler and pup must pass all of the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy® test and Responsible Owner Pledge® requirements in order to enroll in the AKC® Program.
