From our AKC Agility Trial Chairperson Nancy Morris –
Many thanks to everyone who helped at the January Pet Expo trial last weekend. All I have heard is compliments and praise for how well this trial ran. All this was because of your help and support.
Our new experiment having a “B” match and a fun class was very popular, especially the fun class. Next year we will try and come up with another fun class or two and give our dogs a chance to really blast around.
We had multiple MACHS and PACHS as a lot of people wait for our really big and fancy ribbons and of course Rhonda’s lovely bags.
Thanks again and see you next year.
Nikko and Club member Chelsea Singer earned their Novice FAST and Novice JWW titles at Oriole’s Jan 2015 AKC agility trial !
The trial’s all packed up and done for this year, and we’re all still smiling at how well it went !
Come join us for our first agility trial in our new training building in Halethorpe, Maryland! You’ll find the premium on our website under Events on our CPE Trial Information page.
Did you miss our annual awards meeting? We had lots and lots of awards and titles earned and recognized by Oriole members for 2014! Check them out on the Member Awards page.
ODTC members and non-members! Help needed with Set up for the AKC agility trial this weekend.
We are looking for help from our ODTC members with set up this coming Thursday, January 22, for the AKC agility trial at the Pet Expo site in Timonium at the fairgrounds.
We will be setting up the rings starting at 5 pm.
This is a big job. We have two rings of equipment to set up. Plus we must put ring gating around both rings and double ring gating in many areas. Please come out and support your club! All help will be greatly appreciated.
Any exhibitors who will help with unloading/ring setup may also set up on Thursday starting at 5 PM. They may place a marker for their personal setup areas before helping, and can complete their setup areas when the unloading and basic ring setups are completed.
Exhibitors not helping with unloading may set up on Thursday only between 6:30 pm and 7:15 PM, at which time the building will be closed.
Just added for this trial: a Sanctioned “B” match has been added for Friday night (training with toys allowed) as well as a Non-Regular “Tunnelers” class on Saturday afternoon. Sign-up is on the day of the trial and you do not have to be entered. See one of the above links for more information !
Come spend a day with local experts Jean Wilkins and Susan Heckelman on Valentine’s Day weekend in February for agility workshops in Distance/Discrimination and the 2×2 method of training weave poles.
